How to make the most of your 5 days in Corfu 🇬🇷
1) Take a day trip to Albania We booked ours via Get your guide and the price of the ticket (£57) included pickup from the hotel, ferry to Saranda, a morning spent visiting the ancient city of Butrint, buffet lunch with seaview and some free time to explore Saranda... totally worth it! 2) Rent a car to explore the island We didn't book a car in advance and only ended up renting one for a day from a local car rental (price was €50 for the car + €20 for petrol). A day was enough to visit most of the main attractions including Paleokastritsa where we took a short boat trip to visit the caves and the stunning Halikounas beach at sunset. Corfu is very hilly and full of windy roads so take frequent breaks to avoid being car sick! 3) Try paragliding or paramotoring This was one of the coolest experiences we ever had!
